The Futura XL-400 is like a printer for your computer using thread instead of ink. It is also a full sewing machine. The Futura XL-400 hooks up to your computer with the included USB cable. It has a design browser, 5 fonts built-in, a resize feature, basic editing, a recolor feature, a large 6.23 inch x 10.23 inch hoop and a smaller 4 inch x 4 inch hoop included. It accepts all of the most popular home embroidery formats, so there is no limitation on design formats. To stay on the cutting edige, automatic software and firmware updates are available for this machine!
